Oakeshott is an independent insurance broker with headquarters situated in the City of London insurance market, with additional offices in Russia and Ukraine.

We were founded in 1993 in London, originally servicing our clients' marine hull and P&I needs, both commercial and private. Since that time, the services we provide has grown to include all classes of commercial insurance and reinsurance and we now have clients based in 25 countries, from North and South America to the Far East.

We effect placements in the company and Lloyd's markets in London, and the European company market.

In addition, since establishment of our company in 1993, we have been constantly working with developing insurance markets in Russia, Eastern Europe and C.I.S. countries and we have extensive good working relationships with such markets, enabling us to demonstrate their financial strength, history and professionalism, providing our clients with a valued alternative competitive solution, in a market that is strong and growing constantly stronger. When necessary, we arrange for local policies to be issued for our clients in the country of risk and then arrange superior reinsurance support, always providing direct service to our clients wherever they are located.
